Date: 27/11/2014 – 28/11/2014
Duration: 2 Days
Venue: LIMIT, St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds.
This two day course has been designed to introduce surgical trainees to safe surgical practice within a controlled workshop environment and it aims to ‘teach, assess and certify’ the ability of trainees to use safe and sound surgical techniques that are common to all forms of surgery.
Lectures & practical workshops
BSS should be undertaken during the first year of Specialty training (ST1) although it is permissible that trainees in foundation years may take part as long as their involvement does not preclude ST1 trainees from attending.
