Opened in 2015 and based on ward J34 in Beckett Wing at St James’s University Hospital our state of the art Undergraduate Hub & Teaching Ward provides students with inspiring teaching spaces and access to a variety of learning opportunities – be this small group teachings and simulated scenarios to additional learning opportunities such as the ‘Breakfast Club’ and tailored one-to-one support. The hub provides a warm welcome to all students based at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust and in addition to the teaching spaces provides a common room equipped for relaxation and a small library space/quiet study space.
