LTHT Trainees struggling to gain sign-off for their Annual Review of Competency Progression (ARCP) assessments can now arrange their own assessments via our dedicated online booking system.
To help Trainees gain sign-off, Medical Education Leeds is offering trainees exclusive access to our simulation models in the LIMIT suite located in J34, Beckett Wing on the following dates:
- Tuesday 24th April 2018
- Friday 27th April 2018
- Friday 18th May 2018
- Monday 21st May 2018
Trainees are invited to bring along their own assessor and demonstrate their skills in delivering a range of clinical procedures within a simulated environment. The clinical procedures available are:
- Ascitic drain
- Lumbar Puncture
- Chest drain
- Central Venous Cannulation
To book a 30 minute slot, trainees must ensure they have previously attended a course or completed the procedure in a clinical environment before booking their session. Trainees must also arrange their own assessor.
