This course covers:

Risk Management

To update knowledge on the assessment and management of risk within the NHS. To raise awareness of local policy and practice and to understand personal responsibility in relation to risk management.

Medical Ethics

To update knowledge and understanding of current ethical issues. To review personal practice and to have an opportunity to discuss personal ethical issues with peers and other colleagues.

Clinical Governance

Update knowledge and understanding of clinical governance and how governance impacts upon day to day practice. To understand personal responsibility in relation to clinical governance.

Information Governance

To review regulations and requirements both national and local. To consider own practices in light of guidance. To discuss roles and responsibilities within information governance framework.

Employment Updates and Legal Issues

To understand latest amendments and developments in employment legislation and policy to discuss how this impacts on personal role of a supervisor of juniors.
