The Grand Round Is Back

Led by Dr Andrew Lewington and Dr Marissa Minns (Chief Registrar), Grand Round is back with a new format, aimed at engaging postgraduate trainees on clinical, researched and academic aspects of a given topic.

The Grand Round provides a weekly forum for healthcare professionals and academics to come together and learn in the presence of our postgraduate trainees.  The presentation will be 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes Q&A.

Starting tomorrow (21 September 2016), the first session presented by Dr Andrew Mooney, Consultant Renal Physician and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor focusses on ‘What’s New in Renal Medicine’. Lunch will be provided from 12:30pm and the talk can be accessed at either the lecture theatre in the Clinical Sciences Building, St James’s University Hospital or via video-link at the Clarendon Wing Lecture Theatre, Leeds General Infirmary. All healthcare professionals and students are welcome to attend.

Weekly Updates on the Grand Round can be found via Twitter @GrandRoundsLTHT and information on the forthcoming sessions can be found in the programme.
