Basic Ultrasound Theory Course - Year 1 or 2 (O&G;)

Synopsis

The aim of this meeting is to provide delegates with an introduction to the use of ultrasound in O&G.; It is suitable for beginners and those wishing to pursue training in ultrasound. It aims to provide an understanding of the role of ultrasound in patient management and the importance of proper training. Experts in the field will give lectures, and time will be available for practical demonstration of equipment.

This course does not aim to teach delegate how to understand ultrasound, which requires comprehensive practical training and assessment in an approved clinical ultrasound placement. This course is funded for YMTP Year 2 Trainees.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you need to cancel this course, the following terms and conditions apply.

• Cancellation of course 5 days prior to commencement date, course fees will be returned minus £50.00 administration fee. If you received any course materials these must be returned prior to any refund.
• If there is an alternate date available for this course you may transfer your registration, but an administrative fee of £50.00 will be charged to your card.
• Cancellation within 5 days will result in a loss of fees. If there is another course available, you may transfer but a £50.00 administrative fee will be charged to your card.
