New Common Room Open at SJUH

We are pleased to announce that, after four months of extensive planning, negotiation, delays and flooding!... the new SJUH student common room is finally open.

This joint project between Medical Education Leeds and the University of Leeds is Based on floor 2 of the Clinical Sciences Building, where we have created a room that we envisage will meet the majority of your needs whilst at the SJUH site.

Designed to be bright and stimulating the room incorporates contemporary furnishings in a number of functional areas which provide space for both relaxation and study.

This room is exclusively for undergraduate use and you will require a code in order to enter (this can be obtained from your Undergraduate Co-ordinator)

The comfy seating area can accomodate up to 22 people on a variety of seating options all of which are upholstered in carbon neutral fabric

We have included a large widescreen monitor in the comfy seating area so you can keep up to date with current affairs or relax and take in some day-time television

We have four PCs that are on the University network in the event you need to catch up with some work and a table with seating for 8 should you have any group work to complete

There are snack and hot drinks vending machines situated within the common room
