Funding
Yorkshire Modular Trainees
This course is fully funded for doctors enrolled on the Yorkshire Modular Training Programme in their first year of Training.
External Trainees
Places are available for midwives and doctors outside of the Yorkshire Modular Training Programme at a cost of £595.
Format
The 3-day course is intended for trainees and is a mandatory requirement for entry into ST3. It also meets the requirements of the mandatory course specified in Module 5 of the Core Curriculum.
Please note that from August 2011, it will be mandatory to have completed the RCOG BPS course for both application to specialty training at ST3 level and successful progression from ST2 to ST3 level. No other alternative courses will be accepted after that date.

Cancellation Terms and Conditions
Yorkshire Modular Trainees
In the event that you need to cancel this course, the following terms and conditions apply.
Failure to notify non-attendance at least 2 weeks prior to the start date will result in a loss of your funded place on the course. To rebook, an external course fee of £595 will be charged. Please accept that no exceptions will be made.
Latecomers will be turned away any later than 15 after the course start time.
External Trainees
In the event that you need to cancel this course, the following terms and conditions apply.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
- More than 1 month = full refund
- less than 1 month = 50% refund
- less than 10 days = No refund
